H1N1 Flu Information

ATTENTION ALL VISITORS

Children
During the current flu season, Texoma Medical Center is taking special steps to protect its patients, employees and visitors. One of those precautions is that non-patient visitors — ages 12 years or younger — are restricted from the hospital. Parents should make other care arrangements for non-patient children. This temporary step is meant to help safeguard against the spread of H1N1 influenza.

Adults
If you are not feeling well and especially, if you have flu symptoms — fever greater than 100 degrees, cough and/or sore throat — please do not visit our patients. We encourage you to see your doctor right away.

Thank you for your cooperation and consideration of our patients and the community. We will continue to monitor local flu activity and should return to normal visiting policies when the flu pandemic has passed.

The public can obtain information on the H1N1 flu by visiting the following Web sites or calling the Centers for Disease Control at 1-800-CDC-INFO.
