Free Classes for Expectant Families

Prepared Childbirth Classes

Prepared childbirth classes are a free, two-part series for expectant mothers and their coaches that cover the basics of healthy pregnancy, labor and birth. Classes are led by a registered nurse.

Location: Conference Room 2, on the first floor of the hospital

  • Thursday, May 17 (6:30-9:30 p.m.)
  • Saturday, June 23 (1:00-4:00 p.m.)

Big Brother/Big Sister Class

Held monthly, this class is designed to help new big brothers and sisters know what to expect when the new baby joins the family.

Location: Conference Room 3, on the first floor of the hospital

  • May 8
  • June 5

All classes are at 6:30 p.m.

Breastfeeding Class

This "Mommy-only" class is for first-time breastfeeding moms who will receive information on the basics of breastfeeding. Refresher courses are available too.

Location: Conference Room 3, on the first floor of the hospital.

  • May 7
  • June 4

All classes are at 7:00 p.m.
