Outpatient Surgery/Procedures

Outpatient surgery and procedures are performed in the Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) at Texoma Medical Center. Outpatient surgery is a surgical procedure that does not require an overnight stay in the hospital. A wide variety of outpatient surgeries and procedures are offered here.

The ACU is located on the second floor of the hospital. Family members and friends may wait in a large, comfortable waiting room until patients have completed their recovery and are ready to go home.

Surgeries are performed in one of the 10 operating rooms that feature surgical booms to help minimize floor clutter and enhance workflow for the OR staff. The booms offer optimal flexibility and efficiency in delivering illumination, video images, equipment and services exactly where the surgeons and surgical team need them.
