Graduate Medical Education

Texoma Medical Center (TMC) offers an accredited graduate medical education program with the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). This program covers total healthcare for the area population and their families. The program offers a variety of challenging learning opportunities, for diverse patient care and education experiences. TMC is located 75 miles north of Dallas, just south of the Oklahoma border. TMC is not only a market leader, it is also the fastest growing healthcare system in the region.

TMC is owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), a fortune 500 company. The residency program is approved by the AOA Division of Postdoctoral Training, is currently in Accreditation Counsel of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Pre-Accreditation and meets the requirements for specialty board certification under the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice (AOBFP). Jonathan Williams, MD, Designated Institutional Official (DIO)/Program Director, and Joanne Johnson, Administrative Coordinator, lead the program.
