Accredited Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program
Texoma Medical Center (TMC) offers an accredited graduate medical education program that covers total healthcare for the area population and their families. The program offers a variety of challenging learning opportunities, for diverse patient care and education experiences. TMC is located 75 miles north of Dallas, just south of the Oklahoma border. The residency program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and is approved by the AOA Division of Postdoctoral Training. The residency program meets the requirements for specialty board certification under the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice (AOBFP). Jonathan Williams, MD, Designated Institutional Official (DIO)/Program Director, and Joanne Dixon, Administrative Coordinator, lead the program.
Family Medicine Residency Program
TMC’s Family Medicine Residency Program is a three-year postgraduate program.
