Whether you are having your first child or a new addition to your family, Texoma Medical Center (TMC) offers a wide range of classes for you and your family.

Prepared Childbirth Classes
Texoma Medical Center’s free Prepared Childbirth Class helps prepare expectant mothers and their coaches by covering the basics of a healthy pregnancy, labor and birth. Led by a registered nurse, the class discusses: nutrition and fitness, how to recognize labor, labor breathing techniques, pain relief, Cesarean births and baby care basics. Class participants also get a tour of the hospital.
Big Brother / Big Sister Class
Led by a Certified Child Life Specialist, this class is designed to help new big brothers and sisters know what to expect when a new baby joins the family.
Breastfeeding Class
This class is for breastfeeding moms and their support persons. You will receive information on the basics of breastfeeding, focusing on the critical first few weeks. This class is also helpful for parents who may have had a prior negative experience with breastfeeding. Class is led by a Lactation Consultant.
