Texoma is bursting with artistic style and history. Proud to be the birthplace of our 34th US President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Denison is a community proud to feature art in many forms. Art galleries line the streets of historic downtown Denison attracting many artists in residence. Somewhat surprising for a community this size, Denison proudly features the world-class vineyards of TV Munson as well as a winery that offers daily wine tastings. Denison is even sister cities with Cognac, France adding to the cultural flair of this north Texas community. Sherman is home to the Finley Cultural Center where at anytime during the year you can take in a show by the Sherman Community Players. Shopping

Big city department stores are available at Sherman Town Center and Midway Mall, but if small town shops are more your style, visit the historic downtown districts of Denison, Sherman, Durant and Bonham. Air Travel

Love to fly? Grayson County is proud to boast of two first-rate airports. Whether you need to charter a flight or need somewhere to store your own airplane, the North Texas Regional Airport and the Sherman Municipal Airport are close to home. Both Love Field and the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport are located nearby for national and international flights on the major airline carriers.

On average, the Texoma region gets 40 inches of rain and two inches of snowfall per year. There are around 232 sunny days per year with the typical July high around 95 degrees and the January low at 32 degrees.
