Texoma Medical Center (TMC) offers an accredited graduate medical education program that covers total healthcare for the area population and their families. The program offers a variety of challenging learning opportunities, for diverse patient care and education experiences. TMC is located 75 miles north of Dallas, just south of the Oklahoma border. TMC is not only a market leader, it is also the fastest growing healthcare system in the region.

TMC is owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), a fortune 500 company. The residency program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and is approved by the AOA Division of Postdoctoral Training. The residency program meets the requirements for specialty board certification under the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice (AOBFP). Ahmed Sheikh, DO, and Joanne Dixon, Administrative Coordinator, lead the program.
